MEET OUR ECO GROUP!

Our Eco Group have worked hard since the start of the year to help encourage the school to become more eco-friendly and consider ways in which we can all reduce, reuse and recycle

Since the beginning of the year we have completed an Eco survey of the school to see what Buchanhaven are doing well,  and what we can do better to help the environment.

Last term we organised Christmas Jumper and Halloween Costume swaps to allow us to reuse nearly new clothing.

Recently, we completed our first litter pick of 2025! We managed to fill almost 2 bin bags of crisp packets and biscuit wrappers from the back playground.

We are thinking about ways we can encourage our school to reduce our waste and make the playgrounds litter free to help us work towards achieving our first 'Green Flag'  for being an Eco Friendly School!
