Parent / Carer Helpers

We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful parents who give their time to support our school. Our parent helpers contribute in a variety of ways, helping to enrich learning and provide valuable additional support for our children.

Parents regularly come into school to support classes in the library, helping children enjoy and explore books, as well as assisting with the care and maintenance of our library. We also have parents who support children with reading, providing extra encouragement and opportunities for those who will benefit from additional reading practice.

Our parent helpers also play an important part in school trips and events, and we love welcoming parents into classes to share their knowledge, skills, experiences and interests when these link with topics the children are learning about. These contributions help bring learning to life and give children opportunities to learn from the wider school community.

All parents who volunteer to help in school are required to have a PVG in place. If you are interested in becoming a parent helper, or would like to find out more about how you could support the school, please get in touch with the school office. We would be delighted to hear from you!
