Junior Road Safety Officers

At Buchanhaven School, our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) are an integral part of the pupil leadership team, playing a vital role in fostering a safe school community. This dedicated group of young leaders champions projects and activities designed to increase road safety awareness among all members of the school community.

Continuing their valuable work, this year's JRSOs will focus on encouraging cycle helmet safety and promoting responsible road use. Through a combination of informative assemblies, engaging campaigns, and interactive activities, they aim to emphasize the critical importance of wearing a helmet when cycling and making smart choices near roads. These initiatives are designed to reach pupils, staff, and families, ensuring a comprehensive approach to road safety education.
